Our newest product, local tallow (beef fat), which would otherwise be wasted, has become useful for the home/homestead! The bars are made without any superfatting (moisturization), consisting of tallow, lye, water, and essential oils where noted. As always, we’ve got unscented for our sensitive friends!
The bars can be grated and used in your favorite laundry soap recipe to replace a store-bought bar or we have pre-grated and mixed it for you, so it’s ready to use!
Bars are about four ounces each. Currently, only one size bag of pre-mixed soap is available as we further test popularity, but initial reviews from some folks who work and play hard are stellar! Bags are 250 grams, or about 8 ounces. Need an extra scoop! We’ve got ya covered with a 1/8th cup stainless scoop.
Laundry Powder Ingredients and Instructions:
Tallow soap, Borax, Washing soda, Essential Oil Directions: Add up to 1/3 cup of powder directly* to laundry prior to washing.
*This product seems to work best when NOT added to a detergent dispenser but instead added directly to the drum.
